Definition
A Large Language Model is a language model trained on massive amounts of text that can understand and generate natural language. LLMs like GPT-4, Claude, or Llama form the basis for chatbots, translation tools, and text assistants. They "understand" context, answer questions, and formulate text – but without real world knowledge, rather based on statistical probabilities.
