On top come running costs for operation, updates and store accounts: Apple charges USD 99 per year for its Developer Program, and Google charges a one-off USD 25 for Google Play.

Native apps in Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) offer the best performance and full access to the camera, sensors and system features. Cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Flutter share one code base across both platforms and are often more economical. We decide based on your requirements and explain our choice.
