Definition
Generative AI creates new content – text, images, audio, or code – based on patterns learned from large amounts of data. Well-known examples include ChatGPT, Claude, or DALL-E. In contrast to classical AI, which classifies or predicts, generative AI creates something new. It is the foundation of many modern assistants and automation solutions.
