Diffusion Model

Generative method that creates images through stepwise noise and restoration.

Definition

A diffusion model is a generative AI method that creates new content – primarily images – by first adding noise step by step and then learning to reverse this process. From pure noise, a clear image gradually emerges. Well-known image generators like DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, or Midjourney use diffusion models. They are today's standard for high-quality image generation.
