Chain-of-Thought
Prompting technique where the model thinks step by step, yielding better results.
Definition
Chain-of-Thought is a prompting technique where a language model is instructed to think through a problem step by step instead of immediately giving an answer. By explicitly writing out the solution path, complex tasks – such as math or logic – are solved significantly better. The technique is a key building block of modern "reasoning" models.
