Evoya AI Update: February 2025

We have integrated a powerful Swiss language model and added new image generation that clearly outperforms OpenAI. Plus exciting new features for AI agents and important model updates

Evoya AI Update: February 2025

Swiss Language Model: 100% Local, 0% Data Leakage

Our platform already offers over 20 language models – now a special one is added: Swiss Llama 3.3, one of the first open-source models hosted in Switzerland. This means: no data leakage abroad. We have already been securely storing customer data in Switzerland – now processing can also take place here.

Llama 3.3 is among the best open-source models and is a strong option for companies that value data protection. With its 70 billion parameters, it is more compact than OpenAI's ChatGPT-4o, but still offers solid performance for many use cases.

A small downside: The model currently does not yet support function calling, i.e., no live internet queries. But this feature is in development and will be available soon.

Better Images with Flux Pro

In the Evoya platform, we combine the best AI models from all providers. Previously, we used DALL-E 3 from OpenAI for image generation. The images generated via OpenAI are not bad, but pale in comparison to what the Flux models from the new shooting stars Black Forest Labs achieve.

From now on, you can use Flux in the Evoya platform: Simply set up an Image Generator tool and select Flux as the model. Then provide the tool to the agent of your choice - that's it.

Try it out, we look forward to your feedback.

Powerful New Tool: Database Access via SQL

Now agents can directly access your databases and answer questions about the data (or create new datasets). For this, the agent generates appropriate SQL queries based on user questions, executes them, interprets the result, and thus answers the user question.

Optionally, the tool can provide the agent with read-only access, read/write access or even creating and modifying tables in the database. Of course, the same applies here: Only grant as much access as necessary. This can also be done through specifically created, restricted VIEWs for the agent.

AI Chat for insurando.ch: Smart Insurance Consulting Around the Clock

Together with insurando.ch, we have taken another step towards digitized customer service. As an innovative online insurance guide, insurando relies on transparent and digital solutions – and now also on AI-supported consulting.

Together we have developed an intelligent AI chat that provides visitors with quick and uncomplicated answers to their insurance questions – directly on the website, around the clock and in multiple languages.

insurando is thus among the pioneers of digital insurance consulting and shows how AI simplifies access to important information.

We are pleased with the successful implementation and look forward to the next steps!

Populating Data Sources via API

Evoya imports data directly from raw text, from websites or files. With the new data source type "API", data can now also be read in and vectorized via API. This enables surrounding systems to automatically send new data to the Evoya data source, e.g., newly recorded products, CRM entries, etc.

We can also use import scripts to prepare stubborn (poorly structured) content so that the data source receives optimal splits (coherent context units, e.g., a legal article).

Are you considering connecting a surrounding system to an Evoya data source to make the content available to agents? Talk to us.

Model Update in February

After the hot model January (keyword DeepSeek), February was rather quiet, but we still provide exciting innovations with Flux, Llama 3.3 Swiss and Claude 3.7 Sonnet.

List of updates:

    • Flux 1.1 Pro added (our new image model – see above)
    • Swiss Llama 3.3 Edition (completely hosted in Switzerland model)
    • Anthropic Claude 3.7 Sonnet added (update from Claude 3.5 Sonnet)
    • Google Gemini Flash 2.0 (update from Flash 1.5)

All information about the available AI models is available as always in the Model Hub directly on the Evoya platform.

Curious how this looks in practice? Start a free trial or book a demo – we'll be happy to show you the feature!
