Creating Diagrams in Evoya AI Workspace

Generative AI models create texts, images, or videos – however, they fail when it comes to meaningfully presenting information in graphical form. At Evoya AI, we have now found a solution for this: Two comprehensive diagram libraries are now available in the Evoya Workspace: Mermaid and VegaLite. The results are remarkable (Direct link to session).

The integration of the VegaLite library goes even one step further. This is a comprehensive data visualization solution with which we even enable interactive visualizations directly in the Evoya AI Workspace (Direct link to session).

AI Workshop at santésuisse

Recently, we had the opportunity to conduct our half-day AI workshop with the services team at santésuisse. In the first part, Martin Bachmann shared exciting background knowledge and provided deep insights into how artificial intelligence works. In the second part, participants could try out what they had learned and test the possibilities of application in their own work environment with our support. It was inspiring to explore together how AI can support various business areas, such as HR or IT, and open up new perspectives. santésuisse LinkedIn post about the Evoya AI Workshop.

Gendy, the Gender* Agent

In the vote at the end of November, 57% of Zurich residents voted in favor of gender-inclusive language in official texts. Regardless of the political debate, we at Evoya AI have thought about how AI technology can build a bridge between supporters and opponents of the gender asterisk. The result is Gendy, the Gender Agent. Gendy makes it possible to design texts flexibly: It converts traditional formulations into gender-neutral language or translates gendered texts back into conventional language. Try Gendy yourself right away!.

PrimAI.ch: Switzerland's First AI Premium Calculator

In the dynamic world of insurance, AI agents are becoming increasingly important. They independently take over tasks such as product consulting, thereby saving valuable resources and, in the best case, contributing to revenue growth. Together with Unterwaldner Versicherungen GmbH, Evoya AI has developed Switzerland's first AI premium calculator: PrimAI.ch. PrimAI.ch accompanies the entire consultation process and, upon request, sends the appropriate offer fully automated via email to interested parties. This innovation has even been picked up by Handelszeitunghere's the direct link to the article.

November/December Language Model Update

In November and December, we also updated and added new language models provided in Evoya AI. We made the following changes:

  • Nvidia's Nemotron (70B) language model, based on Meta's Llama base model. See also our blog post about it.
  • Quen 2.5 (72B) from Alibaba. The model supports 29 languages and is available as open source.
  • Gemini 1.5 Flash (8B): The specialty of this small model from Google is the context size of 1 million tokens – about 8x more than GPT4o. Ideal for preprocessing large amounts of data.

Updated language models:

  • Gemma was updated to Gemma 2 (27B)
  • Llama 3 8B was replaced by Llama 3.2 (3B) (the only 3B large model beat the older 8B model in benchmarks)
  • Llama 3 70B to Llama 3.3 (70B)

Evoya AI Privacy Shield: Data Security in the Context of AI

A common concern regarding the use of AI is the topic of data security. Companies often wonder whether sensitive information, such as customer data, is actually adequately protected. To solve this problem, we have developed the Evoya AI Privacy Shield. With this, sensitive data is anonymized (within Switzerland) before being transmitted to external language models such as ChatGPT. And here's how it works:

  • Text without Privacy Shield: "Good day, my name is Max Mustermann, I live in Zurich and my phone number is 079 123 45 67."
  • Text with Privacy Shield: "Good day, my name is [Name], I live in [Location] and my phone number is [Phone Number]."
