The Municipality of Dagmersellen wanted to provide their employees with a practical introduction to the world of artificial intelligence. The goal was to explore concrete application possibilities for municipal administration and translate theoretical knowledge directly into practice. The challenge was to develop a workshop format suitable for both technical and non-technical employees. The over 30 participants should not only understand the fundamentals in a compact half-day format but also gain hands-on experience with AI technologies.
Solution
A customized half-day workshop that combines theoretical AI fundamentals with immediate practical application. Focus on administration-relevant AI tools and their concrete benefits for daily work. Each participant develops their own AI agent for specific administrative tasks – from processing citizen inquiries to document creation.
Implementation
Workshop conducted during one morning with over 30 employees from various departments. Structured process: Compact AI introduction, practical tool demonstration, individual agent development with guidance. Result: All participants left the workshop with a functional, self-created AI agent for their work area.
Result
The workshop was a great success: All 30+ participants successfully created and deployed their first AI agent for administrative tasks. The practical approach ensured high motivation and sustainable learning with consistently positive feedback. Particularly appreciated was the direct relevance to administrative tasks and the ability to immediately experiment with the acquired knowledge. Participants reported concrete ideas for efficiency improvements in their work areas and are already planning the integration of AI tools into their daily workflows.
