Create diagrams in the Evoya AI Workspace
Generative AI models create texts, images or videos – but they fail when it comes to presenting information in a meaningful graphical form. At Evoya AI, we have now found a solution to this problem: Two comprehensive diagram libraries are now available in the Evoya Workspace: Mermaid and VegaLite. The results are remarkable(direct link to the session).
The integration of the VegaLite library goes one step further. This is a comprehensive data visualization solution with which we even enable interactive visualizations directly in the Evoya AI Workspace(direct link to the session).
AI workshop at santésuisse
We recently held our half-day AI workshop with the services team from santésuisse. In the first part, Martin Bachmann provided exciting background knowledge and a deep insight into how artificial intelligence works. In the second part, the participants were able to try out what they had learned and, with our support, test the possible applications in their own working environment. It was inspiring to explore together how AI can support a wide range of business areas, e.g. HR or IT, and open up new perspectives. santésuisse LinkedIn post on the Evoya AI workshop.
Gendy, the gender* agent
In the vote at the end of November, 57% of Zurich residents were in favor of gender-inclusive language in official texts. Independently of the political debate, we at Evoya AI have been thinking about how AI technology can build a bridge between supporters and opponents of the gender star. The result is Gendy, the gender agent. Gendy makes it possible to design texts flexibly: It converts traditional formulations into gender-neutral language or translates counter-gendered texts back into conventional language. Try Gendy out for yourself right now!
PrimAI.ch: Switzerland’s first AI palm calculator
AI agents are becoming increasingly important in the dynamic world of insurance. They take on tasks such as product advice independently, thereby saving valuable resources and, in the best-case scenario, helping to increase sales. Together with Unterwaldner Versicherungen GmbH, Evoya AI has developed the first AI premium calculator in Switzerland: PrimAI.ch. PrimAI.ch accompanies the entire consultation process and, if desired, sends the appropriate offer to interested parties fully automatically by e-mail. This innovation was even picked up by the Handelszeitung – click here for the article.
November/December language model update
In November and December, we also updated the language models provided in Evoya AI and added new ones. We have made the following changes:
- Nvidia’s Nemotron (70B) language model, based on Meta’s Llama base model. See also our blog post on this.
- Quen 2.5 (72B) from Alibaba. The model supports 29 languages and is available as open source.
- Gemini 1.5 Flash (8B): The specialty of this small model from Google is the context size of 1 million tokens – around 8 times more than GPT4o. Ideal for preprocessing large amounts of data.
Updated language models:
- Gemma has been updated to Gemma 2 (27B)
- Llama 3 8B has been replaced by Llama 3.2 (3B) (the 3B only model has beaten the older 8B model in benchmarks)
- Llama 3 70B to Llama 3.3 (70B)

Evoya AI Privacy Shield: Data security in the context of AI
A common concern in connection with the use of AI is the issue of data security. Companies often wonder whether sensitive information, such as customer data, is actually sufficiently protected. To solve this problem, we have developed the Evoya AI Privacy Shield. This anonymizes sensitive data (within Switzerland) before it is transmitted to external language models such as ChatGPT. And this is how it works:
- Text without Privacy Shield: “Hello, my name is Max Mustermann, I live in Zurich and my telephone number is 079 123 45 67.”
- Text with Privacy Shield: “Hello, my name is [Name], I live in [Ort] and my phone number is [Telefonnummer].”
